MANET has potential applications in very unpredictable and dynamic environments. Due to security vulnerabilities of the routing protocols, wireless ad-hoc networks are unprotected to attacks of the malicious nodes. One of these attacks is the Black Hole Attack. In this paper, we focus on analyzing the effect of active Black Hole Attack on one of famous reactive routing protocol AODV. Our aim is to simulate the effect of Black Hole Attack on AODV protocol using various performance metric parameters. %K Mobile Ad hoc network (MANET) %K AODV Routing Protocol %K Black Hole Attack %K Network Simulator 2 %U http://www.ijecse.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Volume-2Number-1PP-198-205.pdf
