%X El potencial del uso de las teor¨ªas sociales del conocimiento y teor¨ªas basadas en perspectivas biogr¨¢ficas y de la interacci¨®n no ha recibido mucha atenci¨®n en el an¨¢lisis de fen¨®menos hist¨®ricos y pol¨ªticos actuales. Este art¨ªculo introduce al tema "Biograf¨ªa y Pol¨ªtica", que es resultado de un taller celebrado en Berl¨ªn en 2009. Incluye la discusi¨®n de la acci¨®n pol¨ªtica como acci¨®n biogr¨¢ficamente contextualizada:  En qu¨¦ contextos sociales y biogr¨¢ficos tiene lugar la acci¨®n pol¨ªtica?,  En qu¨¦ medida las actividades pol¨ªticas representan formas de enfrentar experiencias biogr¨¢ficas espec¨ªficas?  Qu¨¦ consecuencias tienen acciones pol¨ªticas concretas en la evoluci¨®n biogr¨¢fica y de la sociedad? Basado en trabajo emp¨ªrico reciente, este volumen contribuye a la discusi¨®n de la conceptualizaci¨®n de la relaci¨®n entre acci¨®n pol¨ªtica y biograf¨ªa desde la perspectiva de teor¨ªas biogr¨¢ficas. Adem¨¢s, se delinean las caracter¨ªsticas espec¨ªficas de este campo de investigaci¨®n. Desde varias disciplinas, los art¨ªculos se refieren a proyectos de investigaci¨®n emp¨ªrica, que hacen uso de diversos recursos con diferentes consideraciones conceptuales y enfoques metodol¨®gicos. URN: http://nbn-resolving.de/urn:nbn:de:0114-fqs1102217 In the analysis of historical and current political phenomena, the potential for the use of social theories of knowledge and theories based on interactional and biographical perspectives have not received much attention. This article introduces the topic "Biography and Politics" which was the result of a workshop held in Berlin in 2009. It includes the discussion of political action as biographically contextualized action: Within which societal and biographical contexts does political action take place? To what extent do political activities represent forms of coping with specific biographical experiences? What consequences do concrete political actions have for further biographical and societal developments? Based on recent empirical work, this issue contributes to the discussion of the conceptualization of the relationship between political action and biography based on the perspective of biographical theories. In addition, specific features of this field of research will be delineated.
