Les al¨¦as du monde de l¡¯¨¦dition ont voulu que le livre sans doute le plus stimulant de Raymond Ledrut passe presque inaper u. La R¨¦volution cach¨¦e veut inciter ¨¤   voir les choses de fa on moins statique  . Son plaidoyer prend la forme d¡¯un essai, d¨¦finissant une position et un programme de travail qui gardent leur actualit¨¦ et leur f¨¦condit¨¦, et il interroge avec vigueur la mani¨¨re dont la sociologie parle aujourd¡¯hui des transformations du monde dans lequel nous vivons. Unabridged version of the Chapter 4 (p. 78-100) and extracts of the Chapter 6 (p. 122-134) of Raymond Ledrut¡¯s book La R¨¦volution cach¨¦e (The Hidden Revolution), published in Paris in Casterman ¨¦ditions in 1979. They are preceded of an introduction by Alain Bourdin and published with the kind authorisation on the Casterman ¨¦ditions. The most stimulating book of Raymond Ledrut went almost unnoticed because of the difficulties of the publishing world. La R¨¦volution cach¨¦e wants to make people ¡°see things in a less static way¡±. His speech takes the form of an essay, defining a position and a work programme which stay topical and prolific, and he is asking with intensify about the way sociology is talking today of the transformations of the wopld in which we are living. La R¨¦volution cach¨¦e (La R¨¦voluci¨®n oculta) nos incita "a ver las cosas de manera menos est¨¢tica". El alegato contenido en este ensayo es un posicionamiento y un programa de investigaci¨®n que siguen siendo tan actuales como fecundos. El autor cuestiona de manera convincente la manera como la sociolog¨ªa analiza hoy dia las transformaciones del mundo en que vivimos.
