Focusing on GramsciĄ¯s interpretation theorized by important exponents of cultural studies as Stuart Hall and by Said, the essay puts in evidence the historical and spatial-geographic characteristics of the linguistic and translational issue of the Sardinian thinker. Furthermore the article deals with the employment of GramsciĄ¯s analythical categories in recent post-colonial and culturalist studies.
