Tu man and S. Milo evi , documenting various ideological contents and various political roles of the funerals of heads of state. Tito¡¯s charisma was class-based, supranational and Yugoslav, while the other two were national authorities. Tito¡¯s funeral was a symbol of peace, Tudjman¡¯s of national liberation, and Milo evi ¡¯s a symbol resistance to imperialism.
