%X Leitfadengest邦tzte Interviews sind in der qualitativen Sozialforschung weit verbreitet. In der Regel werden sie als Face-to-Face-Befragung konzipiert. Doch die Frage ist, unter welchen Bedingungen bzw. bei welchen Fragestellungen Telefoninterviews eine sinnvolle Alternative sein k nnen. Um diese Frage zu beantworten, werden methodische Erkenntnisse aus der standardisierten Sozialforschung sowie eine qualitative Studie 邦ber die private und berufliche Lebenssituation von WissenschaftlerInnen in kinderlosen Doppel-Karriere-Beziehungen herangezogen. They are usually done in the form of face-to-face interviews. However, for some research questions, or under specific circumstances, telephone interviews could be a viable alternative. In this  article we explore the viability  of face-to-face vs. telephone interviews vis-a-vis quantitative and qualitative research findings. The qualitative material presented in this article comes from a study of the private and professional lives of researchers in childless relationships. Por lo general, est芍n hechas a la manera de entrevistas cara a cara. Sin embargo, para algunas preguntas de investigaci車n o bajo circunstancias espec赤ficas, las entrevistas telef車nicas pueden ser una alternativa viable. En este art赤culo exploramos la viabilidad de las entrevistas cara a cara frente a las entrevistas telef車nicas con respecto a los hallazgos de la investigaci車n cuantitativa y cualitativa. El material cualitativo presentado en este art赤culo proviene de un estudio sobre las vidas privada y profesional de investigadores que mantienen una relaci車n sin hijos.
