%X The 3. Fulda Convention on Fieldwork〞essentially based around the concept of lifeworld analytical ethnography developed by Anne HONER〞provided a broad insight into recent avenues and challenges in ethnographic research. The reporting team consisted of three participants, making it possible to track the various lines of research enquiry throughout the conference. As a key result we are able to posit the existence of two quite distinct epistemologies of lifeworld within interpretative social research . Explicitly as well as implicitly, there seem to be two fundamental understandings of "world": 1. in the sense of a subjective constitution (inner world), and 2. in the sense of an inter-subjective social construct (outer world). It becomes apparent that each of these understandings entails particular methodical and methodological consequences for the whole research process. El equipo de reporte fue de tres participantes, lo que hizo posible rastrear las diversas l赤neas de investigaci車n abordadas durante la conferencia. Como un resultado clave podemos postular la existencia de dos muy distintas epistemolog赤as del mundo de vida dentro de la investigaci車n social interpretativa. Parecen ser dos conocimientos fundamentales del "mundo", expl赤cita como impl赤citamente: 1. En el sentido de una constituci車n subjetiva (mundo interno) y, 2. En el sentido de un constructo social intersubjetivo (mundo externo). Es evidente que cada uno de estos conocimientos implica una metodolog赤a en particular y consecuencias metodol車gicas para todo el proceso de investigaci車n. Fuldaer Feldarbeitstage im Zeichen der von Anne HONER erarbeiteten lebensweltanalytischen Ethnografie gaben einen breiten Einblick in aktuelle Forschungsfelder und Herausforderungen ethnografischer Forschung. Auf Grundlage der vielf ltigen Fragestellungen, die wir als dreik pfiges Team in vollem Umfang auf der Tagung mitverfolgen und dokumentieren konnten, scheint uns die Schlussfolgerung angemessen, dass in der sogenannten qualitativen Forschung 每 explizit wie implizit 每 zwei unterschiedliche Epistemologien des Lebensweltbegriffes vorliegen, d.h. grundverschiedene Verst ndnisse von Welt als entweder einer subjektiven Konstitutionsleistung oder abe
