%X Ruth AYA  und Christian MEYER haben zu Ehren der Emeritierung von J rg BERGMANN einen Sammelband vorgelegt, der auf 700 Seiten einen ¨¹berblick ¨¹ber j¨¹ngere Entwicklungen in der Ethnomethodologie und Konversationsanalyse gibt. Der Band gibt Einblick in theoretische und empirische Entwicklungen der letzten 20 Jahre, indem er Kapitel von international-renommierten Ethnomethodolog/innen und Konversationsanalytiker/innen in deutscher Sprache zug nglich macht. Die Kapitel schlie en empirische Analysen aus so unterschiedlichen Bereichen wie z.B. Schulen und Schulh fen, Psychotherapiesitzungen, SMS-Dialogen,  rzt/innen-Patient/innen-Gespr chen und Gerichtsverhandlungen ein. Der Band zeigt die wichtige Bedeutung auf, die der Ethnomethodologie und Konversationsanalyse f¨¹r die Soziologie und verwandte Disziplinen zukommt. In 700 pages, the edited collection provides an overview over recent developments in ethnomethodology and conversation analysis. The chapters of the book are made up of German translations and original articles produced by major international figures renowned for their research in ethnomethodology and conversation analysis. They include analyses of a large variety of settings, including schools and playgrounds, psychotherapy sessions, SMS dialogues, doctor-patient conversations, courts of law, and others. The book demonstrates the importance and relevance of ethnomethodology and conversation analysis for sociology and cognate disciplines.
