%X Este art赤culo propone una reconceptualizaci車n de la categor赤a de Naci車n para afirmarla como concepto de explicaci車n sociol車gica, misma que se enmarca entre los t谷rminos en los que se definen modelos hist車ricos de integraci車n al conjunto social establecido por la operaci車n de un Estado. Se analiza la versi車n de naci車n mexicana en tres libros de texto gratuitos (LTG) de historia nacional correspondientes a sexenios presidenciales diferentes. El objetivo es identificar las divergencias y convergencias en el registro de los textos analizados para rastrear la acci車n estatal orientada hacia la actualizaci車n de los t谷rminos en que se define la membres赤a a la comunidad pol赤tica. This article proposes a re-conceptualization of the category "nation" to affirm it as a concept for sociological explanation, framed among the terms in which historic models of integration of the whole of society established by the operation of a state are defined. The author analyzes the version of the Mexican nation presented in three free national history textbooks published under three different federal administrations. Her aim is to identify the divergences and overlaps in the texts to trace state actions oriented to updating the terms in which membership in the political community is defined.
