No oxidative insertion of the iridium into the carbon¨Chalide bond was observed, and the reactions proceeded to provide the halogenated cycloadducts in good yield (75¨C94%). These results are the first examples of cycloadditions of alkynyl halides using an iridium catalyst. %K alkynyl halide %K cycloaddition %K diene-tethered alkyne %K iridium %K transition-metal catalyst %U http://dx.doi.org/10.3762/bjoc.8.201
