%X iForest is the new open-access journal published by SISEF, aiming at publishing innovative and original research in forest science. iForest open access policy combined with a fast on-line publishing system, aims at facilitating universal and rapid dissemination of scientific information, ultimately also enhancing citation opportunities of published manuscripts. This user-friendly policy is therefore expected to be advantageous to both readers and authors, and to ultimately lead to a larger impact on a wide and interdisciplinary scientific community. iForest offers a challenge to us and an opportunity to authors that are committed with progresses in science.
