%X A cartographic representation of the vegetation characteristics over a large area of the Ogliastra territory, coupled with the use of several environmental indexes, allowed to estimate the degree of naturalness of this area. This information comes as a useful contribution for the assessment of ongoing projects such as the planned reintroduction of the Sardinian deer (Cervus elaphus corsicanus E.).
