%X This year, in 2007, the process of European integration had its big birthday party. 50 years have passed since six states began, at the end of March 1957 to integrate their economies. However, 2007 stands also for another, newer dimension of the European integration process: this year was designated by the European Parliament and the council of the EU as being the 'European Year of Equal Opportunities for All'.
