%X En la clase de 5 a os hemos realizado la actividad ¡°El cohete¡± en el rinc¨®n de matem¨¢ticas. Comenzamos contando un cuento que les invitar¨¢ a pedir pegatinas para reproducir un cohete cuadriculado decorado con ellas, en el mismo cohete sin relleno. Describimos las distintas estrategias que los alumnos utilizan para pedir las pegatinas hasta que llegan al uso de numerales escritos con cifras. Despu¨¦s deben colocarlas en su cohete cuadriculado pero vac¨ªo. En la puesta en com¨²n, los alumnos comparten c¨®mo han conseguido pedir las pegatinas necesarias y colocarlas correctamente. Comprobamos que plantear a los ni os actividades en las que deben resolver un problema sin darles para ello un procedimiento cerrado, les hace movilizar sus conocimientos matem¨¢ticos y darles su verdadero sentido como herramientas.The rocket: writing of cardinal numbers and orientation in a squared figure with 5 years old childrenABSTRACTThe activity ¡°The rocket¡± has been done in mathematics corner in a 5 year old class. We started telling pupils a tale to encourage them to ask for stickers with the purpose of reproducing a squared rocket decorated with stickers in another empty rocket. We describe the different strategies used by the pupils to ask for the stickers until they use written numbers. After that, they must fill their rockets using those stickers. Later, children share how they get only the necessary amount of stickers and stick them properly. We prove that open activities in which children must solve a problem without giving them a close procedure, make them use their mathematic knowledge and give them real sense as tools.
