In the following, we presented a Child with various complains thatdiagnosed to have HIV infection.Case ReportA 2/5 y/o child was admitted to the hospital for FUO with prolonged cough, FTT, cervicallymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly and bilateral optic neuritis. . He was hospitalized forfever, cytopenia and hepatosplenomegaly one year ago, and three months later in an outpatientvisit, these signs improved, except thrombocytopenia. In evaluation, bicytopenia, elevated ESR,hyperlipidemia, hyperproteinemia, thrombosis of the transverse sinus of brain, antiphospholipidantibodies , decreased levels of protein S and factor V Leiden and increased level of antithrombin III were detected. Consequently, the result of HIV antibody showed positive. Inaddition to warfarin and cotrimoxazole therapy, he was referred to special center for possibleHARRT therapy.ConclusionIn approach to patients with various clinical presentations such as cytopenia, recurrent orpersistent lymphadenopathy, unexplained hyperproteinemia or hyperlipidemia, evaluation ofHIV infection is highly recommended for consideration and further therapy. %K HIV %K Child %K Signs and Symptoms %U http://85.185.157.11:6280/ijpho/browse.php?a_id=93&slc_lang=en&sid=1&ftxt=1
