ONKWARE %J Journal of Defense Resources Management %D 2012 %I %X Human trafficking also referred to as modern-day slavery is seen as a security threat. Traditional security approaches to human trafficking call for analysis of trafficking as a threat to the Kenyan state and to Kenya¡¯s control of its borders. Traditional security analyses of trafficking emphasize border security, migration controls, and international law enforcement cooperation.
