However, many attemptshave been made to use the compact system forspinning carded yarns. Recently SUESSEN hasintroduced D¨CType slot compact system forproducing carded compact yarn. In this researchwork, an attempt has been made to analyze themigration properties of D¨CType slot carded compactyarn. Three different twist factors have been selectedand compared with regular carded compact yarn andregular carded ring yarn. In this work, the migrationparameters such as Mean Fiber Position, Root MeanSquared (RMS) Deviation, Migration Intensity andYarn Diameter have been measured using theCharge-Coupled Device (CCD) camera attached on aprojection microscope. D¨CType slot carded compactyarn, regular compact and regular ring yarn structureshave been critically analyzed using ScanningElectron Microscope. The test results clearly indicatethat the fiber migration in D¨CType slot compact yarnis far better than both regular compact and regularring yarns. %U http://www.jeffjournal.org/papers/Volume4/4.4.2Ramachandran.pdf
