%X In this paper the author provide some excerpts from an interview with LuisSonzini, ¡°rappresentante Paese¡± of the Bologna¡¯s Gruppo di volontariato civilein Nicaragua and manager of an emergency project delivered in the RegionAutonoma Atlantico Nord/RAAN, one of the two Nicaragua¡¯s autonomousregions where hurricane Felix hit in September 2007. Sonzini was there whenFelix hit Nicaragua¡¯s coasts, and in this account, which is also a sort of selftherapy,he describes with vivid images and strong symphaty the effects of thehurricane on the people and on the physical environment, both from theviewpoint of a survivor and from that of a rescuer.
