Having established this point, it proposes an alternative way forward based on Hume's Empiricism and Pascal's Wager combined with the paradox of the Chinese Room. This results in a philosophical approach compatible with both Eastern intuitional philosophies and Western rationalism, however, results derived under this hypothesis with respect to the philosophy of Mind and consciousness are challenging. %K Rosicrucian Order %K AMORC %K reason %K consciousness %K mind %K linguistic %K philosophy %K Hume Pascal %K wager %K chinese %K room %K Buddhism %K logical %K positivism %U http://www.rosecroixjournal.org/issues/2005/articles/vol2_78_88_watson.pdf
