%X El Paraguay no tiene acceso al mar m¨¢s que por un r¨ªo; es un pa¨ªs de ci¨¦nagas y arcilla de un color particular. Las im¨¢genes de estas obras ayudan a despejar la mirada y acceder a un pa¨ªs de caminos externos obstruidos; un pa¨ªs ( perif¨¦rico?) que se encuentra en el centro del continente, y en el cual se sit¨²an estas construcciones a medio camino entre artesan¨ªa y globalizaci¨®n, entre intimidad y masificaci¨®n. Paraguay¡¯s only access to the sea is via a single river; it is a land of marshes and strange-colored clay. The images of these works help clear one¡¯s gaze to penetrate a country of roads blocked to the exterior; a -peripheral?- land in the heart of the continent, home to these constructions that hover between handicrafts and globalization, between intimacy and mass marke
