%X Diastematomyelia - a congenital anomaly accompanied by multiple skeletal anomalies - is characterized by division of the neural chest into two. With somatic growth over an adult¡¯s lifetime, it might cause back pain, waist pain and neurological symptoms due to a strained cord.
