%X This paper introduces a method for the determination of alpha-naphthylacetic acid with HPLC. Under the reversed-phase condition, puting ion-pair reagent IPR-A in the mobile phase of methanol-water, an unknown peak was separated. The recovery was 100.2% and the RSD was 0.30%. In comparing with conventional HPLC using methanol-water as mobile phase and GC methods, the results were more dependable.
