%X Inositol was acetylated to inositol hexacetate and determined by GC. The content of inositol was got. The gas chromatographic conditions were as follows: 2 m x 3 mm i.d. column packed with 10% SE-30/201 Diatoport PAW(60-80 mesh) was kept at 240 degrees C. The temperature of both injector and FID was 260 degrees C. The flowrate of N2 carrier gas was 40 mL/min. The sample was analyzed by this method with a coefficient of variation of 0.15% and a recovery of 98.2%-104.3%.
