李新纪 %J 色谱 %D 1996 %I %X Phenolic priority pollutants in environmental water are from petrochemical industries, dye manufacture industries,paper industries and domestic waste water. Due to their high toxic nature, the public pay more attention to the concentration of phenols in environmental water and drinking water.The authority of environmental protection in China has established rules and regulations to limit the concentration of priority phenols in water.Therefore,sensitive analytical method is needed.A gas chromatographic method for determination of trace amounts of some priority phenols in environmental water is presented. Direct acetylation of priority phenols is carried out by adding acetic anhydride to an alkaline aqueous solution of phenols. The stable acetate esters formed improve chromatographic characteristics.Toluene in small volume is used as the extracting agent. Six priority phenol derivatives have been separated on SP-1240 DA and OV 17/OV-210,and then they have been detected by flame ionization detector(FID).The recovery and precision of the determination of six phenol derivatives are discussed. In addition,some detailed procedures in analytical method, for example,nature and volume of agent used in extraction and using optimal pH in derivatization are discussed.The method is verified through inter-lab coordinated tests. The test shows that the method is simple,practical and efficient,and suitable for monitoring priority phenols in environmental water. %K gas chromatography %K phenols %K pre-column derivatization %K environmental water
