%X dsorption isotherms of proteins on the surface of the hydrophobic sorbents were measured by consecu-tive and non-consecutive frontal chromatography.It was found that significant difference exsits between theabove two methods. The difference is attributed to the unreliabilitv in the determination of the slope of theinflexion point curve in frontal chromatography,the kenetic factors in chromatographic process and the prob-lems that intrinsically exsit in the two methods. A suggestion which is possible to solve this problem is alsoraised.
