%X he environmental pollution is a more and more serious problem along with the fast development of our country's industries. This article deals with the measurement of naphthenic acid in water through derivatization with TMCS and determination by gas chromatography. Minimum detectable limit was 0.01mg/L. The RSD and average recovery were 6.7% and 80.3% respectively.
