The method involves the esterification of patulin and penicillic acid by useof a derivative reagent , 4-(2-phthalimidyl)benzoyl chloride. The esterified toxins were simultaneously sepa-rated on an ODS column with acetonitrile-water(47:53,V/V)under acidic condition as the mobile phase anddetected at UV 3 0Onm.
