%X Based on the examination of specimen in the Herbarium of Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, visited by the first author in 2000, two new combinations of Viola (Violaceae) are presented. Viola curvistylis Boiss. ex Gagnep is treated as a synonym of V. yunnanensis W. Beck., and V. hossei W. Beck. is treated as a synonym of V. sumatrana Miq.
