%X A global workflow system framework on World Wide Web through the technology of distribute active object is presented. A model of EECA (extended event condition action) is set up for active object in Internet by adding time and space domain to ECA model in active database. Then a hierarchical task model is built for workflow with active object. Based on the models of active object and workflow, the architecture and the applications of the framework are given.
