吴郁玲 %A 曲福田 %J 资源科学 %D 2007 %I %X Rapid economic development may induce much demand on constructive land,and lead to great conflicts between human and land.According to some research conclusion,farmland decreased by 4 701 500 ha because of the rapid economic development in China from 1978 to 2003.That is to say,about 293 400 ha of farmland are converted to construction land annually.So,it is important to know the factors that influence land use and the mechanism of intensive land use.On the basis of analysis of the economic,social system and environment factors that influence land use intensity,this paper established a theoretical framework to analyze the mechanism of land use intensity and the factors that influence land use intensity in China by using the data of economy,society and land use from 1989 to 2004.The results indicated that at 0.01 significant levels,GDP and the land market degree are positively related to the land use intensity.At 0.05 significant levels,the protection of farmland is important to improve the intensity of land use.At 0.1 significant levels,the policy to induce the mature of land market is good to improve the intensity of land use.So,economic development and land market degree are the most important factors affecting the intensity of land use.The government policy in farmland protection,to some degree,encouraged the practice of intensive land use.However,the measures to protect environment may control the extent of land use intensity.Generally,the degree of land market is the key factor to influence the intensity of land use in China. %K Land resource management %K Land use intensity %K Influence factors %K Mechanism
