%X Land is the basis of human's life and is changed by human's activities.Hence population is one of the main factors influencing land use and land cover,and plays a very important role in Global Change Study.This paper analyses the relationships between population and land use/land cover change.Based upon this the land use Degree to Population Model and the Land use Dynamic Degree to Population Model are developed.These models can be used not only in analysing the relationship between population and land use/land cover but also in forecasting future land use/land cover change.
