%X The status quo of aluminum production, consumption and bauxite resources in China were introduced in the present paper. The annual increasing rate of aluminum production and consumption were found to be 16.42% and 15.83% during the period 1990-2008, respectively, and the bauxite resources may be exhausted in the year 2015.
