谢贤政 %A 马中 %J 资源科学 %D 2006 %I %X Valuing environment and natural resources with Travel Cost Method(TCM) in China is still at the stage of exploration.There is a long way to go for us to use the method to provide a consultation service for economic valuation of regional development and policy decision-making.With gradual improvement of the market economic system,especially for the purpose of environmental cost auditing,it seems urgent and important to develop non-market valuation techniques.TCM is a relative mature approach to value the recreation use.The paper discusses TCM questionnaire design and sampling.An on-the-site survey in the form of random sampling was conducted in Yellow Mountain in 2004.A pilot survey was conducted in August 2004 to test the validity of the questionnaire.The formal survey was conducted from September to November 2004 with three different types of locations:in the field(mainly the entrance gate,scenic spots and along the roads),at cable-car stations,and in the hotels in the mountain.1 032 were judged to be valid and used for the study.Based on the tourists' market analysis,a typical travel mode of every original province(zone) is decided.According to the travel mode,the joint cost of multi-destinations is divided and a zonal TCM(ZTCM) model is established to estimate the value of the recreation use of Yellow Mountain.The paper also analyzes some key factors that affect the results.Compared with other related studies,the authors think that the approach to dividing the joint cost is practical and the estimated value of recreation use is reasonable. %K Travel cost method %K Valuing recreation use %K Yellow Moun tain
