%X Based on on-the-spot investigations and measurement, the paper gives a systematic analysis of the distribution of soil and water loss, and the amount of soil and water loss for different types of land use in the experimental areas of Luanping. Focuses for future soil and water conservation work in eastern section of Yanshan Mountains are identified as well.
