%X China is rich in antiseptic plant resources. The study of antiseptic plant resources aims at dealing with measures, principles and ways for utilization of this particular plant resources more rationally, economically and effectively. In the light with vast amount of data obtained through investigations of antiseptic plant resources, the paper mainly introduces the latest progress in investigations and applications as well as problems confronted. Countermeasures and suggestions on the conservation, exploitatipn and utilization of the plant resources are also given.
