%X Joint inversion is proved an ideal tool in geological inversion, which has wildly used in geological interpretation including borehole geophysics. The paper describes the necessity and development of joint inversion of logs restraint geophysics and well logging data of multi-physics fields. According to difference of target model and logging data, joint inversion method is classified as two types. And the theories are probed and discussed in detail respectively. Finally, the developing direction for joint inversion of well logging data is also pointed out based on the review of present research situation and progress of joint inversion.
