%X A remote control and measurement system for multi-frequency IP instrument based on GPRS is developed to resolve the present situation that the receiver cannot communicate with transmitters and the transmitter controller in electrical exploration. The system is composed of the communication module, the host computer and the slave computer. The communication module contains three DTU inserted into the SIM card. It implements the function of remote data transmission via message and realizes data communication between the host computer and the slave computer. As the active station of the system, the host computer initiates connection and fulfills the condition monitoring as well as function control to the slave computer. As the passive station, the slave computer receives connection and carries out commands from the host computer. Three modules realize mutual coordination and various functions. Our test of the system shows that it ensures normal operation and reduces labor intensity as well as highly improves work efficiency.
