%X Based on meteorological, hydrological and grain output data in Zhejiang during 1949-1994, the mean relative effect of per unit area grain yield and grain sowing area on the interannual variation of grain total output are analysed. The influence of technological, social and meteorological factors on the interannual variations of per unit area grain yield are also discussed. In light of the above mentioned discussions as well as in view of the meteorological disaster mitigation and improvement of climatic resources utilization efficiency, grain production in Zhejiang was studied and corresponding measures were raised.
