%X The contiguous area of Jin-Shan-Mong abounds with energy and mineral resources and serves as energy supply base, aluminum industrial base and chemical industrial base in the areal division of labour in the country. The paper fully examines the exploitation of energy and mineral resources, selection of industrial development orientation, division of industrial areas and rational areal allocation of industry. Countermeasures are raised for the acceleration of the pace on construction of energy and chemical base, promotion of rapid development of economy and further improvement of eco-environmental conditions in the area.
