%X Seeking and development of residual oil/gas are the keys to enhance the recovery ratio. Traditionally, the cross-well distribution model of residual oil/gas in the high-level seepage sandstone is built with the logging and testing well data and then the prediction model is established using the mathematical analysis method. In this paper we present a new method with the data of high resolution seismic and fine well logging combing with the numerical model analysis. The new method is introduced into the analysis of a fault block in Liaohe oilfield and this application shows that it is effective for the design of developing plan and the enhancement of the recovery ratio.
