%X The paper studies the Beijing geotechnical engineering targets by applying Rayleigh wave testing techniques.Aiming at evaluation on foundation bearing capacity,we present three methods: evaluating the foundation intensity by directly applying Rayleigh wave velocity,evaluating homogeneity of foundation soil by group velocity from time-frequency curve,evaluating foundation intensity by applying Rayleigh wave testing comprehensive information.Through analyzing engineering examples on different districts,the paper summarizes some characteristics and relationships and provides a logical,reliable and simple way for evaluating foundation intensity.
