%X The realization of 3-D FEM of resistivity gives a powerful tool for studying a multi-shape geologic body. In this paper, the author has implemented the 3-D IP modeling. Firstly, the approximate resistivity of models have been computed. And then the approximate polarizability has been transformed by formula. This paper analyzes the IP anomaly and results of quantitative interpretation of FPS on 1-D,2-D and 3-D models with FEM. People could know the IP anomaly laws from several directions of half space, and then we could instruct in the practice and improve the efficient and accuracy of interpretation.
