%X The Xuwen area lies in the south of the Leizhou peninsula,which is the extending of the North Gulf basin,had been evaluated as a good prospect of oil and gas exploration foreground.Comprehensive geophysical methods(gravity survey,magnetotelluric sounding,2D and 3D seismic profiling,drilling,VSP and well testing) have been used in this region.There are many particular conditions of surface and subsurface geology when we launched geophysical jobs.such as the work area across peninsula and epeiric sea,multiperiodic eruptive rock cover or outcrop in the Xuwen area near-surface,and seismic imaging have encounterd difficulty because of deep complex structure.The comprehensive geophysical surrey has been conducted to solve these problems.
