%X In the present paper,the authors first introduce some experiments on adhesion abilities and related mechanisms for animals and insects.Then we focus on some theoretical studies on bio-adhesion.The biomimetic manufacturing method and its promising applications are discussed in the last section,together with some suggestions on the study of biomimetic adhesion mechanics.
