%X This paper presents the latest development in tribological study of dental materials. Character and related parameters in oral system, oral wear environment and wear mechanism of natural teeth and dental materials have been reviewed. Besides, current situation of the study in wear measure and wear simulation of natural teeth and dental materials was also described. And finally, future directions to be furthered were suggested by considering synergistic effects of chemical environment and loading environment, wear mechanism and predictive wear models of natural teeth and dental materials, and experiment methods and wear simulation system.
