%X Erosion process and mechanism of human tooth enamel in citric acid(pH=3.2)were investigated using in vitro study.Surface microhardness,structure and chemical composition of enamel were examined by means of Vickers microhardness tester,profilometry,SEM and EDX.The results showed that no obvious erosive lesion occurred on the surface of enamel after 1 min.Erosive lesion on the surface of enamel was found after 3 min accompanied by the reductions of the surface microhardness and the content of calcium and phos...
