%X In this paper, the mixed finite element method for the stokes equations is discussed andthe standard isoparametric Q_1×Q_0 scheme, Q_2×Q_1 scheme and P_2×P_1 scheme are proved to allsatisfy the Babuska-Brezzi condition if an appropriate partition of the domain is used.
