%X Mg-Zn-Y quasicrystal materials were fabricated using casting method.The friction and wear behavior of the quasicrystal materials was investigated under dry sliding.Effect of applied load and sliding time on the friction and wear behavior was investigated,and worn surfaces and wear debris were observed and analyzed.The friction coefficient decreased with increasing applied load in all Mg-Zn-Y quasicrystal materials.At the same applied load,friction coefficient and wear mass loss of the Mg-Zn-Y quasicrystal m...
