%X The mathematical formulation of a nine parameter generalized conforming element ispresented, which was proposed by Long Yu-qiu and Xin Ke-qui recently. It is shown that thenew element uses the same finite element space as Zienkiewicz's incompatible cubic element,but the nodal parameters are different, namely, they are the function values and the two sli-ghtly perturbed first partial derivatives at the vertices of the triangle. The convergence of theelement is proved and the error estimates are derived.
