%X The computer image processing technology is applied to fer-rographic quantitative analysis in this paper. By term of this, the characteristic parameters of each single particle on a classificator for four typical sorts of particles is designed. Using the statistical parameters, the particles' automatic recognition, classification and summation can be realized, as a result the accuracy of ferrographic quantity increases greatly,
